i got sunburned for the first time ever 2 weeks ago, and i have to admit it was kind of exciting. even though it means i'm that much closer to dying, peeling skin off of my dirt-brown shoulders provides for a lot of cross eyed excitement.

tomorrow i'm going to the podiatrist to see what he says about the problem i apparently have with flat feet. i'm actually kind of excited because i'm hoping he'll be able to tell me some amazing plan and i'll be able to run forever and ever.
i'm also kind of weary because the last time i was excited to go to a podiatrist, i came back walking like a broken dinosaur for a month.

i thought about plugging in my desk lamp last night, but then i realized that the reason i haven't for the past 7 weeks or so is because i don't have a light bulb. i have a real problem with plugging things in, it takes me at least 3 weeks to even think about it.

the end.

I'm pretty sure this is the reason I come home:

I was sitting at church with my mom, and I was shaking my foot. She put her foot on it to make me stop, and then when she moved it, I started shaking it again just to annoy her. Then she wrote down, very carefully, on her notepad, "A-D-H-D."
I laughed, but she nodded with great concern.

Then last night, she talked on the phone with a friend for a couple hours. She wanted to talk to me about what they had talked about by going on walk #2 of the day, but I didn't really want to.
Me: Ugh, do we have to go on a walk?
Mom: Let's put it this way, if walking could save your mother, would you?

I laughed for 10 minutes straight (and went for the walk), but she wasn't joking in the least.
